Twenty-five years ago, we started Oliver & Mae in a tiny workspace above a neighborhood café in Boston. Back then, it was just the two of us—sketching late into the night, dreaming about what this little idea could become, and hand-packing every order with equal parts excitement and nerves. What began with a few coats and knit pieces was simply our way of creating clothing that felt personal, thoughtful, and genuine.
Over the years, people connected with that feeling—with the warmth, the craftsmanship, and the intention behind every piece we made. And slowly, our late-night passion project grew into something bigger than we ever imagined.
Today, Oliver & Mae has become a boutique fashion brand with a community we’re deeply grateful for. But at its heart, our purpose is the same as it was in that small upstairs workspace: to create modern essentials with a classic touch, made to last beyond trends and seasons, and to craft pieces that feel like they truly belong to the person who wears them.

Please note that the measurements shown on the size chart have a tolerance of around 0.4–0.8 inches. Every product has its own size chart on the page, and we use inches to measure the product. If they don’t fit you well, you can return the items. (Please check our Return Policy.)
Our products are photographed by the camera, without adding any filters to the picture. Product color difference depends on your phone or computer screen, but if you are unhappy with your order I will be happy to do a return or exchange.
